Ipod Switches to Aux Mode

Hi,

Yesterday I uploaded songs from Itunes again from the computer and after that when I reinserted Ipod in Icelink what I have noticed is that the Ipod switches to Aux mode after a few minutes or after a few song selections. Than I have to reseat it it seems. It just shows Aux mode on the display.
Any suggestion, what do I need to do to control it from the onboard display.

thanks.

okay, an update,
this is what happens, when initially started, it lets me control everything , playlists, set up and all.
But as soon as I start skipping songs and pass 5 or six it just goes to Aux mode and the ipod keeps displaying the old song, any ideas??

When this happens to me it's because the iPod itself has locked up. I have to undock it, reboot the iPod and then reinsert it into the cradle again.

I have the same issues. can't seem to shake it. sometimes it will play 20 songs, then shift into Aux mode, I get static and intermittent play. I can have to unseat the ipod 3 or 4 times or more to get it working again. It is a real pain! Havr you been able to solve anything yet?

Try pulling the fuses (should be 2 of them) in the glovebox fuse panel to reinitialize the system and see if the behavior continues.

Also, if the iPod was not ejected from the computer properly - it can cause this type of behavior.
