hmm...did you look into diamond audio? a great line of speakers, amazing sound quality and can be used in competition, or street sound...also comes with one of the best warranties for aftermarket equip....mb quarts are nice also, def. explains why bmw featured them in the previous M5's =]

What series MBQs are you installing??

Are you connecting to stock equipment or adding amps??

I'm getting these: http://www.bavariansoundwerks.com/pr...I=386/_cid=174 with the mids.

Connecting to stock equipment. If I need to, I'll add amps later: I understand that the limiting factor on our Xs really is the speakers far less so than the stock amp.

There is a school of thought that says this.

There are others.

Subtle. I like it.

There's no question upgrading the amp will do good things for sound quality in the vehicle - but upgrading the speakers yields excellent results that fits very well with what many folks want, so we offer that as a solution and try to be realistic about its limitations.

I would love to know the result. I have DSP with a JL 12"W6V2 and I am considering the BSW Stage One Speaker replacement but I am still hesitating because not sure how much different the sound will improve.
