Your Incredibly correct! That's what happens when I have to accomodate for the size of my DVD/Monitors! But hey it sure beats paying over $3500 retail for the BMW 10" Single source - Dockable Flipdown built by Visteon. Plus the INViSiON kit has 2 DVD players. Which would you rather have?

I'm just curious!

The kids love the two DVD player option. The problem is that I usually have 4 kids back there and only two headphones. I have resorted to using the FM transmitter. The problem is that I don't want to drive as much rather just sit in the back and relax...

Well better you sit in the back of the X5 than in the 3/E90...a lot more room my good friend. Tell me what you think about this E90 kit above that I built? You like...?

Looks good; I'm considering a E90 because filling the X up is starting to take a toll on my pocket book.

Damn Ben your killing me! You are actually going to make me swap your X5 Rev 2 kit for an E90 Rev 2 kit. Jeez, you go through cars like I go through "Muscle Milk" & N.O. Explode! Way too fast. Maybe you should buy a bike like me and just fill up once every 2-3 weeks. But then again I live across the street from my corporate office so I pogo stick to work. Holla at me later so we can talk about the lightbulb switch! I am still waiting for Alex to off load some product!

Maybe Fluffly can help!

question regarding these monitors- i see the cable drops down below the seat- do you plug that in to your power adapter or are u hardwireing that into something?
if so- what are u hardwiring into on the x5?

Thanks-
Shag

You will plug the cables, which are din plugs, into a centralized control box (all color coded). From the control box you have two power options...both come standard with every kit.

option 1 - Cigarette Lighter / Power Adapter (Plugs right into Power Port) -this takes about 15 seconds.

option 2 - Hardwire / T-Tap (Power / Ground Split) Any 12 volt key power source in the vehicle. I recommend the power cable under the driver's seat called XLR. This cable is used specifically for the BMW DVD system built by Vizualogic. You can tap right in. No problem and it is a cold source that shuts off with the key power of the vehicle.

It really is a simple process if you are comfortable to DIY!

Call me if you have any questions!
I hope this helps!

By the way do you dj?

I have been producing for 10 years I have a full studio at my house. I am in it to win it!

Digitech S1000 DFX Processor (x2)
