help. how to install cd charger

hi, i have x5 3.0D with tv monitor and nav charger. i want to install a cd/mp3 compatible charger, but i dont now what model can be compatible.
i read that i need some interface, its posible? or i will only have to put the charger on rack and connect to stereo??

The latest OEM CD changer should be MP3 compatible!

You would use an Alpine CHAS-634. It is MP3 compatible. You'll need an adapter as well to convert the Alpine Plug to the BMW wiring.

when i finish it, do you know if i can use immediately or i have to reconfig nav software??
