Sirius Install - MK4 Mode?

I am just wondering will the sirius tuner work if my mk4 is running in Euro mode. I just upgraded to v29.1, and now I am in yards and Euro MPG. Do I need to get it recoded to US mode to accept Sirius?
But I will be switching to a new MB53 module, and I believe that is the only thing that cares what mode it is in.

Yes, Sirius will work fine. The nav computer's setting has no bearing on the radio and Sirius module. I have run my Sirius module with the nav in both US and Euro mode.

Now, your BM53 radio needs to be in USA mode to work.
