My friend was able to switch the start-up picture of his street pilot to one he uploaded. I was wondering if I can do it with the Nuvi? Has anyone had experience with this?

I just now learned that you can download little car icons to use instead of the typical arrow.

I've never even thought about that with my Nuvi 350. The only start-up screen I get is the "Accept" screen.

Yeah his starts up with a picture of his Toureg. Since the nuvi already holds pictures I dont see why you shouldnt be able to switch it out somehow?

Also has anyone come up with a way to make it louder? If the windows are down and the radio is on (as mine always are) you cant really hear the directions.
