Wiring a roof mounted DVD/LCD
The answer to my question is probably somewhere in this forum, but I just cant find it. I just bought a roof LCD screen with DVD and TV tuner. I quess this is quite simple to connect to the doorswitch, (+), ground and ignition but I dont know the colors of the wires. Then, I want to connect the DVD player to AUX in the navi screen i the dash. Video and sound. could someone guide me through the wiring here also? I have a 2004 X5 facelift with navi proff and TV tuner without DSP. THX!!!

Your on the right forum. It just a pain in the ass to run you through how to install it without being there.
Test the wires to find the right ones. (If you dont know how to do this, get someone to install it for you) As for the aux in and video thing, send a PM to Tom G at europeanautosport for some advise. Good luck |

Hi thx!
Just thought that someone in this forum had mounted an extra screen and a DVD player without using BMW parts or nav-tv products. I have mounted this my self on my old X5 but that time I used a Nav-TV product.
