I had my car in for a recondition, and when I got It back, the radio was not working, and the control panel gave the "suspension" message. When the BMW repairshop looked in to matter, they found 2 inches of water in the compartment below the spare tire, and both the DSP as well as the electronics for the suspension need to be replaced. Is this something that has happened to anyone else out there? The BMW gyus are actually claiming that I myself must have hosed down the 2 gallons of water, but that is not the fact. To me the car is leaking somewhere.. factory defect?
If anyone can shed some light, IŽd be most grateful! /dave |

They should be checking forwater leaks before replacing the electronics otherwise this will just happen again. Have them pay special attention to the rearmost side windows. They commly leak.
Good luck, DT |
