Talking Completed DICE Install

Hi,
I have just completed the installation of the DICE unit from EAS. Delivery of unit was rapid to say the least!. I am extremely happy with the unit, sound is excellent, controls as expected and advertised and phone via OEM bluetooth works perfectly. My car is a August 2005 X5 4.4 sport with Nav, Bluetooth, TV and no DSP. The engine has been "fettled".

The DICE was installed in accordance with the instructions on this forum from BSW. I fitted the cable from the rear to the glove box. The DICE box is in the central area at the rear fixed with velcro (as page 18 BSW instructions). Only changes to the instructions was to account for the fact my steering wheel being fitted on the correct (right? - sic) side of the car. Instructions were spot on with locations of screws and panel fixings. Excellent instructions that I highly recommend.

I can change the display from screen to ODC and show large fonts. It shows Track, Artist and Album. My only small gripe is that in Playlist mode it does not show the Playlist name, just shows PLAYLIST on screen or OBC. Is there a way to disply the playlist name?

I highly recommend the DICE unit and the BSW instructions. Lower cost that the new OEM unit, easy to fit and works better with pre 2006 vehicles.
