Which harness are you talking about?
The one from the headunit----to----the DSP amp?
Or from the DSP amp----to----all the speakers?

The 2 harnesses from the headunit are not speaker wires.
One goes to the nav unit
And the the other goes to the tuner. And it has a fixed output.

What are you trying to do? Add amps for your speakers?

Test them to find out.
If you take a small battery (AA) and soder a short piece of wire to each end you have whats called a speaker bumper.
In bmw's the speaker wires are twisted together.
Touch the wires from the bumper to the factory wires.
The speaker that that is connected to the wires you touched will cause the speaker to make a small noise.( you might have to get someone to sit up front to help hear which ones.
Once you have found the right speakers you will have to determine which is positive and negative.(easy easy)
In bmws the negatives are brown or have a thin brown stripe.
Hope this helps

Read this thread.

http://www.xoutpost.com/bsws-mobile-e...dsp-audio.html
If you follow this you will need a cable from Tom G that connects the 6 pin at the cd changer to the open 10 pin in the tuner below the spare tire beside the battery. ( 25 bucks )

This method works but depending on the quality and placement of the HI-LOW converter you use , you might get some engine noise.
