Please help me finding CD changer harness!

Hi!

I am trying to find the 3 pin and 6 pin cables in the trunk area of my 2006 X5. There are several cables with taps but it doesn't seem any connectors. The attached pictures are taken around trunk area in the driver's side (US car ). Any clue where are those connectors? Thanks!

bump

Is it possible that there is no CD change harness at all since my X5 doesn't come with CD changer. If I want to install something on that harness, I have to route one from the front.

Should be in this location here:

The harness can sometimes be tucked underneath the plastic panel where the toolkit should be.

Yes, it's there. It is easily located after the black plastic cover is removed. Thanks for your help!

it should be pre-wired and there. Try looking a behind the panel that's a bit to the front of that access panel.

There's alot more wiring than what appears in your photo. It may have been tucked further back during assembly.

Take out that all weather cover and the spare tire lid. It facilitates entry to the electronics and components.

I went looking for it too when I bought the Dice kit. Mine was tethered to another group of wires with a very strong zip tie. It's buried next to that black metal piece right in front of the panel opening on the botton. It should be on the right side of that metal piece.
