Unhappy Where is the Bluetooth Fairy?

2004 X5 3.0 no nav, MID computer with Bluetooth telephone. Purchased a Nokia 6102i with Bluetooth from Cingular and could not pair it with the built in bluetooth telephone. I could not get the computer to show any kind of activation or pairing mode. What's worse, I could not clear the previous owner's number.
I need help and instructions. thanks.
