I had e-mailed Rich I while back with the same question. Here is the answer he gave me.

You need to secure the bezel using a metal strap and the stock screws hidden behind the dash trims.

Good luck.

No hard feelings I hope.

I was looking at that. IMHO RICH's X5 bezel is a piece of crap, like he tossed it together just to put it on the market. I have spoken to Rich several times, and I don't like his attitude at all. I do however love his e46 units, all of them look OEM and much nicer than the flat, un oem looking e53 and e39 units he made for the Double Din install. BUT if you look at the Comuter Monitor screen he did for the e53, MUCH better looking.

I'm currently working on a more attractive bezel for the X5. I'll be offering a discounted upgrade price for anyone that ordered my original X5 bezel.

Looks good. Any chance this could be covered in the stock dash material? Any idea of were to get this material?

Anybody wanna do a group buy on this? If we can get 4 buyers then its 18% off.
