I have only ONE connector with 12 wires and it's not connected to anything. In fact it is bundled up and securely tied down in the left side compartment with connections for the cd changer, NAV, phone, etc. that were not installed at the factory. So back to our 12 wire connector from the DIY article. The wires to it look like anything but speaker wires. I took a pic of it, as well as the group it is with. ????????????

You need to pull the signal from the wire cluster that feed the stock amp. That cluster is the one that is shown on the DIY. I also followed one of the wiring diagrams that are listed.

that is my next spot to go to, though its a 34 pin. ??? Definitely goes to the amp/radio module. Has a latch style connector.
