740iL is on a distinguished road
Does anyone have BM53 65-12-6-976-961? It's 1st to display MP3 audiotext PLEASE HELP.

I bought the BM53 65-12-6-976-961 from a seller on a different forum. I have the OEM CDC and it still displays CDC not TR.

I also don't get the Nav Min when I press the info button only RDS/PTY or the Audio Text when a mp3 cd is playing. I know the 65-12-6-976-961 is the first of the MP3 radio's and it should work.

I have the Wide Screen, MK4 V27 and BM53 65-12-6-976-961
I hope!!!

I ask if you can look under the radio service mode and look to see if your software is 40-01 63, well that's what I got, but at this point I trust you more that the BM53 radio I have.

The OEM CDC I have is 65.12-6 983 334 March 2006 and it does play MP3's fine.
