Question Does Anybody have Pioneer XDV-P90 DVD Changer?

I have a question about wiring/powering up the unit. I bought one on e-bay and previous owner modified positions of cables by color on the white 4 pin power plug.
Please let me know,
Peter

Peter,

Quick question - you installed a Pioneer CD-Changer, did you use an adapter for the BMW headunit? Something from PIE or Blitzsafe or whoever? If you did use such an adapter, which one was it and does it control the changer as they say it would?

I have PIE BMW-PC/PIOX that I connected to an IP-Bus changer - I get the sound on the speakers but also get a clicking noise, that can not be correlated to anything specific, like the engine RPMs or whatever. Also, I can not control the CDs using the headunit, only the CD changer's remote control. The changer seems to operate normal, so I suspect the adapter from PIE either mulfunctioning or outright defective.

when I press the 1-6 button, I get the sound "dipping' as if it was changing something, but then I get the same song continued.

I have "analog" DSP, 16:9 MK3 NAV, TV Tuner, car is built 11/01

Thank you,
