headrest tv & dvd player

Hello everyone. I have a quick question. I saw a while back a picture of someone's video setup but I don't remember how it was done. The dvd player was mounted in the center console section. See attached picture. Any idea if this was custom or if you can get this setup from BMW?

Thanks.

this looks like an aftermarket in-dash DVD player that got mounted in the center console - the looks of the buttons and the controls is definetely not OEM. The OEM DVD player would go in the back area, mounted vertically on the floor closer to the back seat (so, the person in the middle seat would have too much fun when the disk is ejected ). The OEM DVD player is black, like the CD changer and the Nav computer, not shiny silver.

Personally, I kind like the set up on your picture, it looks like a very good use of space, as opposed to the OEM solution for the back passengers.

Check out another option that I had tried to explore with a DVD changer in place of OEM CD changer, it is on the same forum, under "MP3, MPEG4 and video my BMW".

I sure envy the clean mounting on your picture
