Checking amp?

How can I check my 1000/1 JL audio amp to see if it is blown or if it just the fuse that blew..?

Cuz on my old 330 when my amp and sub were hooked up one day I turned it up kinda loud and then all the sudden the bass died. I am sure i did not blow my sub either my fuse for my amp blew or the actual amp blew.

Anyway I can check if my amp still has "sound" power.
