This is a 50 lb, 13.5 JL brand sub that costs, list, around $1200 and takes a 1000 watt amp, the JL version being close to $800.

Now, for a review of this product, an actual quote:

Nice. How 'bout a 5000 watt 34" sub? Audiobahn AWT34X - Audiobahn 34" 5000 Watt Linear Compression Subwoofer

Or the 6000 watt 22" Jackhammer: MTX Car Audio - JackHammer Subwoofer

At least the JL preserves sound quality.

I am totally humbled.

Choices, choices, what to do... quad 34s for acceptable bass, or the 22s that promise musicality...what to do, what to do?

How much is a dedicated diesel generator?

Since the 34s are on sale, I could put them near the dog-person next door and pound out wolf and mountain lion growls at 10 hz and 200 dbs. Think his dogs would bark then? He might even move out of California after about 10 straight nights of "earthquakes".

I could make money renting them out to people with bad neighbors.

So many ideas, so little time...

10hz at 200db!?!?! I am pretty sure your lower intestines would 'let go' at that level. You're right though, it would definitely help get rid of bad neighbors.

Actually, I read that the military is testing a acoustic weapons that can project a focused beam of ultra low frequency waves to drive away bad guys. It would be hilarious to see terrorists retreating, throwing down their guns, holding their ears and screaming, while simultaneously sh!tting their pants due to LFID (low frequency induced defecation!)

200 dbs is an exaggeration. Maybe only 120 or so. What you want is that ominous uneasy feeling, and shaking house, for humans and the sound of giant wolves and mountain lions from hell for the dogs.

Look at the important part of their quote "I have a Honda Civic" that pretty much says it all
