Exclamation New iPod Classic does not work with Dice!

That right, i just bought a new iPod classic to replace my filled to the max 30gb iPod. The iPod responds and initiates with the Dice system, it's just that when it initiates, a screen comes up saying iPod is connect to an accessory. Then music starts playing but the thing is that it doesn't leave this screen so i can't change the songs except on the radio buttons.

Is this just me or is it on all of them, because i tryed changing the song then connecting it, it still doesn't go to that song.

Help me! I can't drive without my dice+iPod!

All of the new iPods use a new operating system, so its doubtful any of them would work with the older systems.

Official testing will begin early next week when the testers arrive for the verification process. Please be patient.

We did test for most of yesterday - all DICE functions are available with the new Classic and nano. However with the OS change, the iPod Clickwheel is now locked on the new Classic & 3rd Generation nano models.

We'll be testing continuously to see if this can be bypassed, however - all other features are working 100%.

As a "grassroots" approach, the iPod can be rebooted with the dock connector plugged in - this will bypass the DICE features and allow for a simple AUX-in connection until the iPod is disconnected.

It's temporary, but an option.

I'm starting to think it is possible for the dice to be fully funtional because yesterday i got into my car and the iPod was already on the connected to accessory screen and then i just pushed the menu and select button and it just went to the menu screen. After that the iPod funtioned just like an older iPod where everything was funtional including steering wheel controls and text display. But i got into my car today and it left that menu so now i can only put in aux mode. I'm gonna try fooling around with it to see if i can replicate what i did.
