If the iPod is booted up while attached to the DICE - it will not go into UART mode. However, there is no text display and steering wheel control in this mode.

I don't know how it happened but i got the iPod to function like an old one. It must have been some kind of glitch of something but it worked. I wish i took a video or something to prove it. Everything was 100% functional
down to the text display. I don't know what buttons i pushed but it set me back to the menu screen.

I got mine to do this as well at one point... but couldn't hold on!
