PLS Confirm - there is no way CD Changer and Ipod would work together
I am a 2 days memeber and got an Ipod adapter installed in my X5. However, the CD changer had to be sacrified to make the Ipod work. Do you have the same problem? |

I wouldn't call it a 'problem' for myself because I prefer using the IPod over the CD Changer. I also have the Dension IceLink.
Oh and :welcome: to the forum

If you have a 2003 or newer, you can keep your CD changer and use the AUX input for the iPod. However, this solution sacrifices the ability to control the iPod (other than volume) via the steering wheel controls.
Tradeoffs.....

There is a way of doing it as i looked into this but is very costly. You change the source with a switch. The only downside is that the changer is always on when the ignition is on even if you are listerning to the I pod
