CD Player (Sirius Compatible?)

Hello,

I have a 2002 X5 3.0i manufactured before 10/02 with the stock Business In Dash CD player (No Nav / No DSP). I would like to add OEM Sirius but am having a hard time finding which CD Players are compatible. Is there a site that lists which cd players are compatible?

I notice there are a lot of Alpine CD players on ebay with square holes, but looking at the production date of the cd players on ebay that most claim to be aux/sirius compatible have production dates of 09/2000 or 11/2000... What gives?

Also, is there a magic formula in matching up which sirius receiver works with which cd player?

Thanks!

It's per a software version and manfacture date. We have the radio you need here:

e39/e53 BMW Business CD Upgrade - iPod/AUX/Sirius compatible

Since you have a MY02, there is no need for additional parts. We can provide the Sirius kit as well for a complete package.

I believe that all of the CD players (as long as it was in a 1999 or newer model year car) are compatible with the radios that support Sirius.
