BSW speaker upgrade w/o subs??
i'm looking to upgrade only the 8 speakers (4 speakers/2 tweeters) and leave the 2 subs under the seats alone as well as the dash mounted speakers alone... (trying to minimize work and/or damage to the vehicle) any recommendations? or would this be a waste of time/money? what improvements in sound and loudness would this bring???

i know this doesn't sound like much of a sale but do i have the option of ordering the Stage 1 kit without the under seat subs??
unless it's a simple install i don't see myself removing seats and stuff... the small dash speakers too... has anyone installed this kit recently on an 07 X5 that doesn't mind sharing installation thoughts??

that's the wrong kit....
the E70 Stage 1 kit includes everything...(12 speaker upgrade w/subs) just need to know what speakers are available that i can purchase to swap out the ones on the doors... (4 sets of mids w/tweeters)

Sorry it took so long to respond but we're still catching up on the forums from the holiday. The Stage 1 does not replace the subs just the 4 sets of mid and tweeters. We are finallizing the development process so they should be out soon. From what I've seen and, more importantly, heard from the prototypes these speakers are an amazing improvement over the stock. The highs are much clearer and the mid frequencies are cleaner with a bit more kick. If you're interested you should sign up on our waiting list and we'll let you know as soon as they are available. the main mid-bass is a 4" with a 3 hole bolt pattern, and a 1" tweeter. Glad to see you signed up on the waiting list, these should be coming soon.
