ipod interface question

I found this adapter, Dension Gateway 100, to connect my factory business CD of my '06 X3(without navigation), with an ipod touch.

http://www.dension.com/GW100.php

My question :

With the above adapter will i have ID3 data of the currently playing song, in the screen of my business CD or not;

The Gateway does work very well with the iPod touch at the moment http://www.dension.com/dension_apple_matrix.html.

In answer to your question, what type of business head unit do you have, there are a lot of variations, can you find a picture or something similar on e-bay?

The Gateway 100 should display text on that head unit.

I've had a Gateway 100 now before Christmas and it has never worked.
I've sent numerous pleas to ickd to get this sorted out but to no avail.
The ipod and the cd retention kit don't work. ickd have asked every question about the installation but have not solved the fault.
They now think the fault could be the unit but 2 weeks later I am still waiting for a replacement.
Wouldn't recommend this unit. AT ALL.
