Can I install Avic-Z2 straight into stock Amp?
Big question is, can connect the head unit straight into the stock amp via a harness? Is there anything that I should be aware of? Like how to trigger the stock amp to turn on or needing a high/low converter? I know that the Ibus might play into effect. I'm sure I'll be asking many questions along the way if I can't find it via "Search". I'll try to post pictures along the way as well. Thanks in advance! |

Yes, I believe you can connect your head unit directly into the stock (non-DSP) amp.

I just installed the Pioneer Avic Z2 in my X5 and I had to get an after market amp.

Do you have any nice X5 pictures you added in the background of the z2 that you can share?
