Help installing Basslink

I just got an infinity basslink 2 for my 06 x5. Can someone share some words of wisdom on installing. Thanks

Should be straight forward. Open up the back drivers side panel, pull out the one harness, hook it in the basslink harness, hook the basslink back in the original spot.

You need to follow this article from the main webpage:

You will need to tap the correct wires for the audio - power can be tapped from the terminal block under the spare or pin 8.

Does anyone have a Bass link Unit installed in their rear trunk compartment. Any pics? Does it fit?
