Dice ipod text on Nav Screen??

Ok I received my dice unit, install no problem. I did have a lil problem with the programming, but seems to work fine now. My question is in regards to the text scrolling across the nav screen. Small text is to small to read, so I went with the bigger text. The only thing is that it only shows like the first 6-7 letters then it freezes, and eventually scrolls thru it. Sometimes
1.Is there a way to more letters come across the nav screen? Faster?
2.If so how do I do that?
3.And is there supposed to be a text coming across the drivers dash area under the speed/odometer, or just the nav screen.
4. I cannot operate the ipod itself when its connected to the dice? Correct.

Thanks

The text field in large font is limited to 8 characters, this is the reason scrolling text was introduced. The scrolling speed is fixed.

The iPod is locked out when connected to the SILVERLINE, all control can be performed via the NAV controls and/or steering wheel buttons.

Does it always lock your iPod? I thought you could use the ipod to change songs ect... I think using the NAV screen to operate the iPod is really confusing and using the iPod itself to search songs and playlist would be A LOT easier.

Previous DICE + Previous generation iPod - yes. The new iPods lock out the clickwheel when connected, so the SILVERLINE was introduced to take advantage of the other features.

The main enhanced features would be the following:

Browse by Artist with full Artist Directory listings
Browse by Album with full Album Directory listings
Browse by Playlist with full Playlist Directory listings
ID3 text display, showing Artist, Song title and Album while the song is in play.

It's reached the end of the Playlist/Artist or Album you chose. Simply choose another and you'll be on your way.
