Question Attn: Tom @ EAS

Hello Tom... could you please post some details about the eJack module by Car-Solution? Mainly, does it override the raise/lower 24 mph governor? Is this an easy install? http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=1872

Thank you

Thank you

The eJack will allow X5s will air suspension to raise/lower approximately 2 inches in the rear. Installation is very simple.

I'm not aware of the governor you are referring to. Can you explain in detail?

Cool

I got this answer from another member here in a different thread:

X5's with front/rear air suspension (4.8is & some 4.4i) cannot raise or lower the suspension via the switch after going above 24 mph.

You mentioned the module effects the rear only? Perhaps this product is for X5's with rear air only?

Thanks Tom!

Those of us with stock adjustable ride height can move about 2 inchs from the factory. Does this piece provide an extra 2 inches over factory in either direction?! Is it like the Intrax and will hold that set height regarless of speed?!

The module was originally intended for the 5-series applications, but works on the X5 also. If you do have controls via an external switch - this would perform the same feat.

So the module only raises and lowers the rear? My 2004 X5 4.4 does not have the button that lowers the car, but I am looking to lower the car with this module in the front and back if thats possible?

The module was intended for the 5-series when designed. It was tested on the X5 but cannot get the front/rear suspension to align properly when raising lowering.

For the meantime - rear only on the X5.
