I have tried to fix my pixels on my OBC today. To remove the instrument panel is very easy on my 2001 X5 sport but i found it quite tricky to separate the two halves to gain acces to the lcd area. After spraying contact cleaner ( must be residue free and plastic friendly)all over it i have reassembled the unit and tested it. I now have improved pixels but still not 100 percent so i will probably have another go next week! I found this job pretty easy just be careful!!!!
