DiceHD Click Wheel

I recently upgraded to a new iPod after my 5th gen died, what a huge mistake as now the $160.00+ dollars I shelled out for the DiceHD kit, are now effectively a ipod charger.

I purchased an AUX In kit, which is much better now that I can use the clickwheel again.

I do have a question, with Dice rolling out the RDS Version of the iPod kit which allows click wheel retention, Couldn't they just do a firmware upgrade to the existing Dice's to allow click wheel? It seems as they should be able to.
