Electrome mirrors not working

Hi

I have powerfold sidemirrors + rearmirror with electrome function
(So they normaly auto shuts down when the lights from another car hits)

Bot none of it are working. Only the powerfold-function, and the adjustment is working fine. So the fuse should be ok.

So my question is: Is the sidemirrors electrome function controlled by the
rearmirror ? (So its only the rearmirror that are not working)
Or can it be that all the electhrome glass need to be replaced ?

Kind regards

Thomas

Are you referring to the rearview mirror and it's auto dimming function?

The auto dimming side mirrors recieve their signal to dim from the rear view mirror. To test you can turn your lights on, make sure the transmission is NOT in reverse, block off the light sensor from the rear of the rearview mirror, then shine a light at the light sensor embedded in the rearview mirror glass. All 3 mirrors should dim.
If not, you might have a wiring break or defective rear view mirror or defective side mirror glass... need to pull the side mirrors off and check for voltage while doing the test (not sure what voltage though).
