Questions re. OBC / TV / Nav Screen in the 4.6is

Hi all,

Got a few question regarding the On Board Computer unit (the one with the 16:9 screen, from 2002 4.6is):

1) TV - After successfully tuned to the local TV channels, it plays the audio of the selected TV channel, but I can't seem to get the picture to be displayed on the screen. I've checked the "Country" was set up correctly; Foot & Hand brake is engage, and "Park" gear is selected. What is preventing the picture to be display on the screen? This unit is suppose to be able to do this, right?

2) AV Input - I haven't tried it yet, but the manual for the OBC says "The "AV" channel cannot be used on this set" (page 43). Does that mean I won't be see any external AV source even if I plug it into the "AV" input in the back of the front central arm rest?

3) OS - I think the current version of the OS / firmware is pretty outdated. Is there a way to check the version number? And is it possible to update it by myself?

4) Nav - it has the Nav screen, but not the actual Nav computer. Can I just get the Nav computer and expect it to "plug n play" / retrofit? If so, which one should I get? MK1, MK2, MK3.. etc?

5) iPod - let say if I can to get an iPod interface, full button controls for Audio, and video displays on the Nav Screen. Which one would you recommend?

Thank you for the help in advance.

Simon
