adding ALPINE DVD CHANGER,
hi guys,
after 2 years of being satisfied with my 2005 3.0d i got it upgraded, oh yes I've bought Alpine DVD changer for 6 dvds. It plays everything, including mp3 and divx files and has remote control. It was connected through the TAPE audio channel, so if I want to use it i just push tape button on the main panel. I've installed the on/off button in the rear passenger’s panel just above AV in/out jacks to switch video signal so i can watch all the track infos, videos, navigate folders and so on... After using it for several weeks i have some questions. 1. When playing some audio files the sound quality is not like very good? Does it have any connection that I am using tape audio channel or whatever it called? What may i do to improve sound quality? 2. Had anybody tried to install DVD changer INSTEAD of original CD changer (no mp3 format support), do you get original file navigate buttons working? 3. Should I re-install my dvd changer instead of current CD changer? I can use both cd and newly installed dvd changer. Maybe it’s better to have dvd changer installed instead of current cd changer? What for do i need old cd changer now? One thing, my audio installation company told me that they have no experience in installing DVD changers INSTEAD of CD changers and getting original button to work.any tips? p.s. i can take some photos for this new on/off button instal in rear panel, how the changer itself was installed, or anything else that maybe usefull bor somebody, if somebody needs it... |
