I kind of want 2 Ipod my X5. What is the best sound system that you will recomend? Ipod Adapter or ICE-Link? Definately no FM modulator.

I would go ICELINK. a little problematic to install, make sure you upgrade the firmware but all in all i'm very happy with mine

With iceLink, do you lose FM? Why the modulator?

I think what he is saying is that he doesn't want to use an FM modulator.

The IceLink uses the CD changer interface and has no association to the FM radio mode. Nothing is gained or lost on FM by using the IceLink

Correct, the attractive point on FM Transmitters/Modulators is the price - it's cheap. But you do end up getting what you pay for.

I've always compared the FM Transmitters on the iPod like driving a Ferrari with the parking brake on - it just doesn't make sense.
