iPod question

I'm getting the car back with the iPod adaptor on or around Wednesday. I still have another question. When you turn the car off and the iPod is plugged in, do you have to turn the iPod off or does it do it automatically?

It goes off automatically. Don't worry about it. The only bits of advice I would give you about keeping it plugged in all the time is to either leave it out of any sort of case or get one that allows heat to dissipate because the iPod will be charging constantly while the car is running and the heat can prematurely kill the iPod battery. Also, don't leave it in your car in extreme heat or cold. My summers get up to 110 degrees for days so the interior of a car gets to, say, 140. I think that is hot enough to crack the LCD display.

Steve Jobs announed during the last MacWorld in January that indeed BMW and Apple were working on a better iPod interface.

I just installed my iPOD interface I bought the Dension Ice>Link Plus system. I never had a CD-Changer in my X5. While I got it to work quite well with text etc... I was under the impression that on my nav monitor I would see the option CD-Changer added. This has not happened, am I missing something here?
