What is your goal? Do you want ground shaking bass, subtle integration, or a confident thump that is not necessarily obnoxious? My setup is a single 10" in a .75 cu ft box powered by a 400w rms Alpine amp. My speakerbox is roughly 10"x10"x12" which does not take up major floor space. For me it is the perfect blend of thump and integration with the factory system. I am still planning to upgrade speakers, but do not plan to pull the factory amp.
