Is there a radio module in a 2003 X5 without NAV?

Hi all, this is my first post so please be gentle

I have just got a 2003 X5 3.0d Sport

It doesnt have the NAV, but does have screens in the headrests and DVD player in the back above the CD changer

I have a parrot bluetooth car kit I want to install which has connectors the same as in the back of the radio module

so, I removed the radio control panel from the dash but, after searching this site, found that these units have a seperate radio module????

The post i found was directed at X5s with NAV but
I removed the spare tyre and looked next to the battery (removed the black cover) but there is no radio module there....

So now i am completely lost, can anyone please help and point me in the right direction

Thanks in advance

Jon

Weasel will become famous soon enough
The cd player above the control panel houses the radio unit, and if you need wiring diagrams the "online WDS" link at the top of the page is the BMW style wiring schematics. Good luck and happy modding!

Yes, in your case the radio module is a part of the cassette player unit.
