JL Stealthbox arrived this week

I decided to go with the stealthbox. I actually ordered it back at the beginning of the month. It was back ordered and didn't arrive until this week. This thing is very well packed. The box was taped and stapled together. Here are some pics.

I flipped the box upside down to get the woofer out.

I ran into some problems though. I wanted to use the JL bracket and just keep the factory bracket with the factory subwoofer. Well when I try to attach the JL bracket the supplied screws are too short! Here is the JL bracket turned on its side. I ended up using the factory bracket. Anyone else have this problem?

I also could get the top bracket to fit. The hole on the JL woofer is not aligned with the factory hole! This one is a show stopper. I don't have a work-around to secure the top of the sub. I'll be contacting my seller tomorrow. This is not what I expect from a product that cost $550!

Oh I have a JL Audio A1200 amp. It sounds really good with the factory system. The bass fills the cabin now and sounds much fuller. You can hear more of the music and it actually makes everything sound better, or it gives me the perception that the other speakers sound better.

I will be upgrading the other speakers next (once I get that top bracket issue resolved).
