Switched power can be found in the steering column. Remove the 2 screws underneath and the cover comes right off.

I kinda was looking for exact wires to splice into - need switched power and ground wire, preferribly off of the back of the radio or A/C unit. I read this article:
http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...icle&artid=116 but when I spliced into the purple/ red wire, it was full-time (battery) power, so I am not sure if the wiring changed from 2001 to his vehicle.
