Is the AUX kit the same for E46 and X5?

I dont want to lose the CD changer, and for the moment I need an aux adapter for my XM radio (no need to explain all that now).

Tom (or anyone else), I have access (ie, free) to a brand new BMW OEM AUX kit for an 04 325Ci.

Will the same kit work in my 06 X5 with Nav/non-DSP..?

Thanks
Ed

If the e46 is also NAV-equipped, the kits are the same.

Sorry to bump in, but I'm also interested in an AUX jack install. I don't have navi on my 03 X5 with DSP, and I don't have confidence to install the Dice. I just want a simply way to play my iPod in my car any suggestions?

You'll need a different kit, listed here:

55W has simply more output than the 35W versions, it's definitely noticable. All kits have built-in warning canceling.

Nothing for just an AUX cable, but we can possibly put together something if a larger group of items are ordered.
