Intravee II iPod song selection??

I just installed the Intravee II and Alpine KCA-420i into my 2005 X5 w/NAV. For the most part everything seems to be working OK however, when I search and then select an Album and then want to move to the next song the "up" and "down" selectors on my steering wheel and at the head unit only seem to toggle back and forth between the first song and second song on the album. It won't let me keep going to the 3rd song, 4th song, etc.

Any ideas out there??
