Bavarian Autosport / Infinity Basslink "Plug 'n' Play" Subwoofer Kit

Does anyone here have an opinion on this (Bavarian Autosport / Infinity Basslink "Plug 'n' Play" Subwoofer Kit) upgrade? It's on sale for $349.95.

I am looking on upgrading my bass and this kit seems to be the easiest way to do it without spending big money on. What do you guys think?BTW, my '06 X5 has the DSP premium sound. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Cool

Basslink is ok... I had one for about 6 months. It will do the job. Not sure if Bavarian Autosport's solution is a true plug n play. If you want to save some cash, grab a new basslink on ebay for about $170 and then a $20 trip to Radio Shack. Check out the article Wiring a sub amp for step by step wiring directions. Here is my current setup

Thanks ZeroChief! I'm curious, where did you set the basslink unit in your X5 when you had it? Any issues with it taking too much space?

Thanks! BTW, nice set up you have there!

It is a true plug and play, I had one and sold it to a board member.

Cool, it is a true plug & play, thanks for the info. Mind sharing why you sold it? Were you not statisfied with it?

I decided to go with the subwoofer upgrade from BSW. I just ordered it today so hopefully by next weekend I will be able to install it. Thanks for all who responded to this thread....
