Modules are not visible although operational!

Hi all,

Just got my self a euro-spec 2004 325ci Cabrio that has a lot of options for that year/model installed.

when trying to see what i can do with dvd playback, ...etc i opened the trunk and took away the carpet.

well, i do not see any BT module, TV module...etc however i do use my HTC phone in the car with the HandsFree kit, and I do watch tv while parked at the stop light.

perhpas this image helps show what i mean.
(disregard the removal of the MKIV, i took it off to double check nothing is behind it!)

thnx,

Fadi

On the TIS, the TV Module is described/shown as being behing the panel that separates the boot/luggage compartment from the car (panel behind the rear seats).

The Phone module seems to be on the other side of this bulkhead, and it shows you have to remove the rear seats and then there is a small panel held on by screws, and the phone module is behind this.

Suggest you get a copy of the TIS - it's your best friend when working on a BMW

Fadi,

I also had little tags or buttons on the trunk lid of my E46 telling me what was already prewired which helped me upgrade some. Specifically my BT module upgrade from a legacy CDMA telephone setup.
