this is EXACTLY what i needed.question.what happened to the fuse box?didn't see it at all when you removed the glovebox.does it just stay where it is?

I just want a dice box to play my ipod, I have an 08 x3 with nav abd no cd changer or sat, which box do i need?

That is correct, the fuse box stays in the glove box, you don't need to remove it.

ooo ok.i want to do the install on my X5, but since i dont have a CD changer i have to find the CD harness because it would already be there correct? anyone know if this is it?

As long as your car is already prewired for a CD Changer, you'll still have the 6 pin and 3pin connectors for the CD Changer that you can connect the DICE unit to, unless you have Digital DSP where you would find coaxial cables instead.

i dont have DSP and thats the problem, i can't find the wires FOR the CD changer, hence the point of the pic i posted above.i also did some snooping around as i was trying to get my radio to work again(no luck).no clue what the first one is for.as for the second and 3rd one, think this might be the CD changer harness only because i see the bluetooth adapters strapped to it as well.

The previous picture you posted is of the telephone connections. Look for the 6 pin and 3 pin connectors, they may be tucked under the plastic tray on the right side where your tool tray is. If you have the Business CD, you can get the Radio Interface and save the trouble of running the wiring to the front of the car. If you have Navigation, you should be able to locate those CD Changer connections.

i have the business CD.where do i about getting the interface, does it come standard with the media bridge?
