Change Tone on Radio

Hi all, been searching this and for some reason can't seem to find any input. I'm simply trying to change the tone from flat to ANYTHING on my MID. Radio is not a DSP -

Any ideas? Seems like no matter what I press, it stays the same - also, can't find anything in Manual.

On our 2001, non-DSP, Biz CD radio, I have buttons on front panel that adjust
Bal,fade,treb & bass, to quite an extant. Dunno what a MID is, but our old, low
tech oe radio is cake to change. Maybe some of the audio xperts will chime in.
