dvd mounting (rear) and LCD hook-up questions

Well I finally received the headrest monitors back from savv, after paying $400 to have both DOA monitors replaced (purchased from vendettabmw as NIB! lol) they're ready to go into the vehicle. I also picked up an alpine DHA-S680 DVD changer which I will mount in the back with the other components. As it's wider than the rest and the brackets will need modified I'm wondering how others mounted/modified their units? Also, I'm contemplating using some sort of a video processor/amplifier so that more than one source may be selected. Did any of you do this and if so what processor did you use? Finally, does anyone know the part # of the two clips do replace for holding the seat back on? I'd like to order these so that when I run the wires through the seats I have new clips to put in!

don't the savv monitors have dual inputs selectable via remote???

i just looked. they only have one input. bummer. my sony's have two inputs (each independent) and my DVD player has two video outs.. there are plenty of video selector units out there with radio remotes that would work quite nicely....


as far as mounting the DVD, i as well as others modified the OEM brackets(cut and reverse part of them) for my Kenwood to fit.

yes, i did.

we all had to except for those with the alpine who ditched their OEM cd changer
