hi line camera and digital upgrade

Hi all, i know this is the bmw forum and i have a 2004 range rover, but thy use the same tv module and screen sat nav etc, so my question is this.
I wish to put a rear view camera and upgrade the tv,(lost analogue signal) to a digital tuner.
do people have any recommendation.i kind of figured i have to buy a aux lead in to plum into the tv tuner in the boot of the car, and then use the aux station on the tv.
many thanks

Yep sounds about right. There is a dedicated reverse camera input too, I think it is NTSC with auto switching when you engage reverse.

You need a newer hybrid video module for TV. Do a search on the nav forum at bimmerboard.com where I posted , in the past, a complete list of P/Ns of the BMW video modules. Some of us have bought separate camers and a relay to do the reverse camera or you could get a BMW kit for more $$. Brian has done write ups on the e38 camera installation and posted at the forum on BB also. Search for his work. He is brian there and brian-bmw here.
