No soud radio/nav/parking sensor ect/ X5 2008
I'm have a problem with the audio part of the X5. It from 2008. When the radio is on I cannot hear anything . Also see nothing happening while turning on the volume button. When I press the volume button I see in the display that the radio is in "mute" but if I press it again still no audio. Also with my navigation system no audio only visible. With my parking sensor it's also no audio, only visible. First i tried a reset, so pulled the positive connector from the battery. After 10 minutes i'd put the connector back on the battery. No success. After reading more on the internet I saw an article about a red fuse on the radio module in the back. I cannot find this radio module. Also cannot find anything that looks a bit like the BM54. On the left rear side next beside my left rear light i have a fuse box, and all the fuses are good. ![]() On the rear left side I see 2 units, i don't know if one of those are the radio module, but also don't see any fuses (red fuse). ![]() I brought the X5 to the dealer, but after resetting the computer, still no audio. Hope somebody have tips for me what to do . Thx. |

You have MOST car audio, you do not have a BM54.
The phone may have captured the audio. Unplug the ULF that is at the top of the second image. Check your phone in the cradle is securely placed. |
