Aftermarket Double-Din radio

I see a lot of members here have replaced their Business CD and MID with a double-din radio. I took out my CD and MID just to have a look at the bracket and I can't figure out how to remove it. I was wondering if you all cut the bracket like they do for those navigation retrofit installs? I really don't want to cut the bracket as my X5 is still under warranty.

I previously purchased a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 for another car. I would like to put it in the X5.

Sorry, my wording was wrong.

I meant do you have any pictures of an installed aftermarket in-dash CD player for the X5? Just curious how it would look.

Aimster you hijacked my thread!

Can we please get back to the original topic? Is there a way to remove the radio bracket without cutting it when installing a double-din radio?
